Who should sign up for training?
Both medical professionals and persons not associated with the medical industry could take courses with us. Medical professionals may be required to take courses by the institution they work for. Non-medical personnel often take courses to become more knowledgeable in CPR, AED’s, First Aid. Everyone can be trained to learn how to save a life.
Should the general public be trained?
Yes especially if you are caring for, or living with, a child or elderly parent who may be a high risk medical candidate. Also, everyone in the general public benefits from being trained in CPR, First Aid, and AED use. We can all be called upon at any time to help save a life.
How do I register for a course?

When will I get my cerification card?
Certification cards will be mailed to you within 60 days of course completion. If you need immediate proof of course completion, we will be more than happy to generate a course completion letter the day of the course.
Why are other websites so cheap, what’s the catch with those $19.95 CPR cards?
Please be very careful and look out for fake CPR classes, especially the online versions that advertise for instant certification. The American Heart Association does not give instant cards online. We teach to the American Heart Association standard, but some places do not. Our classes are required for Nurses, Doctors, Paramedics, Nursing Students, Lifeguard, EMT and meet specific guidelines are set by the AHA. Our prices are very competitive, and lower then most.
Do you accept any non-AHA course cards?
We do not. Many none AHA courses provide no skills testing and we find many to be nothing but scams. Many hospitals also refuse to accept them so make sure you take the course that is from AHA training center and you can check to see that it is listed on the AHA website.
Why don’t you offer “instant” CPR card online?
Because the American Heart Association does not offer instant CPR cards or wallet cards online. In the state of NJ, NY and PA and other Northeast US states, hospitals, nurses, paramedics, doctors, lifeguards are required to take the American Heart Association classes. Don’t get fooled by “instant” CPR cards, the AHA does not do them.
How long is my card good for?
Your American Heart Association certification card will be valid for 2 years. We will notify you before it expires.
What if I lose my card?
You can get a replacement AHA certification card if you misplace it. We keep your records on file at our training center. There would be a $15 charge for BLS and HeartSaver Cards. All replacements are sent via regular mail. Priority mail extra.
Do you offer onsite CPR training?
Yes we offer onsite CPR, First Aid and other training at your home or business. Please contact us at (917) 861-9684 for more information.
Can I bring my kid or family to school?
We are unable to provide childcare services and since the seats are limited we can not allow any family or friend to stay with you.
Is food or drinks allowed in classroom?
No food is allowed and the only drink that would be ok is water in a sealed container.
Can I cancel or reschedule a class?
We have a no cancellation policy, however we will be glad to transfer you, one time only into another scheduled class or reschedule your private class. This request must be made within 24 hours in advance. Call us at (917) 861-9684 if you must reschedule.
What if I am going to be late for class?
Many students travel long distances to attend our courses. We realize delays sometimes occur. Please try to get to class on time so as not to disrupt the other students. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will not be able to get in to classroom and you would need to re- register and pay full fee.
What should I bring with me to class?
All of the materials that you need for the course will be provided. However, you may want to bring paper and a pen or a pencil to take notes.
What is your privacy policy?
We are committed to protecting our customers privacy. We do not sell, trade or share your personnel information with anyone. We take your privacy very seriously and will always honor the trust that you place in us.
What if I am sick on the day of the class?
If you are not in good health, we request that you notify us within 24 hours before your scheduled course.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing. Our hands-on practice sessions may require you to be on the floor doing the skills. Tables are provided if you are unable to do the skills on the floor. ( Please AVOID Wearing Heavy Perfumes)
How about an online course?
We will soon offer online eLearning courses from various organizations including CPR and First Aid. In order to obtain a certification card, a skills test (part 2) is required by an AHA instructor. Please be aware that various organizations are offering CPR and/or ACLS eLearning courses without the required skills test. Many of these courses are not accepted within the general medical industry. All American Heart Association courses, and certification cards, are accepted nation-wide.
